Death of Cornelius Crowley.  The death of Cornelius Crowley occurred at 11:30 last evening (January 10, 1894) after an illness of only a few days of congestion of the lungs.  Mr. Crowley came in from his farm about a week ago and while at the Tremont was attacked by the disease which, notwithstanding every effort of medical skill, so soon proved fatal.  The deceased was 52 years of age and was a native of the county of Cork, Ireland.  He leaves a widow, who will have the sympathy of the community in her sudden bereavement.  The funeral will probably take place tomorrow, announcement of which will be made later.  (Grand Forks Daily Herald, Thursday Morning, January 11, 1894, Volume 13, Number 62, Page 4)

The funeral of Cornelius Crowley will take place from St. Michael’s church today, Rev. Father Conaty officiating.  The funeral cortege will leave the Tremont house for the church at 9:45.  (Grand Forks Daily Herald, Friday Morning, January 12, 1894, Volume 13, Number 63, Page 4)
